Terms & Conditions

  • Welcome to HairByFloJo
    These Terms & Conditions govern your use of HairByFloJo’s website (https://www.hairbyflojo.ca). By using our site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.


  • (1) Cookies
  • We use cookies to improve your browsing experience, for analytics, and for certain site functions. Required cookies are always active; optional cookies can be accepted or declined. By using our site, you consent to the use of required cookies.
  • (2) Intellectual Property - Original Content
  • All original text, branding, logos, and materials created by HairByFloJo are the intellectual property of HairByFloJo and are protected under applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or use any such content without prior written consent from HairByFloJo.


  • (3) Third-Party Content Disclaimer
  • Some images or materials featured on this site may be sourced from third parties (e.g., Pinterest) and are used for illustrative purposes only. 
  • HairByFloJo does not claim ownership of any third-party content, and all rights remain with their respective owners. 
  • If you are the owner of any content displayed on this site and believe it has been used without proper credit or authorization, please contact us, and we will promptly remove or update the material.
  • HairByFloJo assumes no liability for any claims, damages, or disputes arising from third-party content displayed on this site.


  • (4) Service Location Restrictions
  • We ONLY provide hair services in hospitals, nursing homes, or other care facilities that DO NOT have an on-site salon or hair service provider established within the premises.
  • (5) No Show Policy
  • If we arrive for a scheduled appointment and no one is home, we will wait up to 15 minutes maximum.
  • If contact is not made within this time, the appointment will be marked as a no-show.
  • A No-Show Fee equal to the Mobile Service Fee must be paid over the phone (Card E-Transfer) before any future appointments can be booked.
  • Rebooking is permitted after a no-show; however, no appointments will be confirmed until the outstanding No-Show Fee has been paid.


  • (6) Snow Day / Weather Cancellation Policy
  • In the event of severe weather, unsafe road conditions, or forecasted storms, we reserve the right to reschedule your appointment for the safety of both the stylist and the client.
  • Rescheduling due to weather will be at no additional cost or fee to the client
  • We will make every effort to provide as much notice as possible and re-book at the earliest available time that works for both parties.
  • If a client needs to cancel or reschedule due to unsafe weather conditions, it will not be treated as a no-show, provided that notice is given prior to the scheduled appointment time


  • (7) Zero Tolerance Policy for Abuse
  • We maintain a STRICT ZERO-TOLERANCE policy for any form of ABUSE during appointments. 
  • This includes, but is not limited to, VERBAL ABUSE, HARASSEMENT, SEXUAL REMARKS, or ADVANCES, THREATENING BEHAVIOR, or any INAPPROPRIATE CONDUCT. 
  • If such behavior occurs, the service will be STOPPED IMMEDIATELY, payment in full will still be required, and future appointments will be refused.


  • (8) Pets & Large Animals Policy
  • For the safety of both the hairstylist and the client, all large animals (including dogs and other pets) must be secured during the appointment.
  • Animals should be placed in a crate, another room, or kept at a safe distance from the service area for the entire duration of the appointment.
  • This policy is in place to mitigate risks of injury, distraction, or disruption during the service.
  • (9) Service Time and Scheduling
  • Please note that the service duration shown at the time of booking includes an additional buffer of 30–45 minutes. 
  • This buffer time ensures that the hairstylist has adequate time to complete your service without rushing and to travel to her next scheduled appointment. 
  • The actual service itself may take 30–45 minutes less than the time listed, depending on the type of appointment. 
  • This practice helps prevent overbooking, ensures punctuality, and allows for a smooth experience for all clients.


  • (10) Right to Refuse Service
  • HairByFloJo values cleanliness and safety in all service locations. 
  • If, upon arrival, the environment is determined to be unsanitary, unsafe, or otherwise poses a health risk (e.g., mold, foul odors, or hazardous conditions), we reserve the right to decline or terminate the appointment. 
  • If lice or other contagious conditions are present, we will be unable to proceed with your appointment. The service will be cancelled immediately, and rescheduling will only be possible once the condition has been fully treated
  • Any payments or deposits made for that appointment may be non-refundable.


  • (11) User Comments & Content
  • You are responsible for any content you post on our site. 
  • Content must not infringe on third-party rights or contain unlawful, defamatory, or offensive material. 
  • By posting, you grant HairByFloJo a non-exclusive license to use, edit, and share your content.
  • (12) Links to Our Site
  • You may link to our homepage in a fair and non-misleading way that does not imply endorsement. 
  • We may request the removal of any link at any time.
  • (13) External Links
  • We are not responsible for content on third-party websites linked from our site.
  • (14) Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
  • Our website and its content are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, HairByFloJo will not be liable for any damages resulting from the use of this site.
  • (15) Discount Rates & Discount Codes


  • Discounts are valid only on regular haircut services, hair coloring services, and extensions.
  • Discounts do not apply to pre-discounted services, including senior haircuts and kids’ haircuts, as these services are already offered at reduced rates.
  • Only one discount may be applied per appointment. Discounts cannot be combined with any other offers, promotions, credits, or special pricing.


  • Introductory promo codes (including but not limited to “FIRSTCUT” – 10% off your first booking) are strictly limited to new clients and may be redeemed one time only for the client’s initial appointment. Introductory offers cannot be reused, transferred, shared, or applied to any future bookings. HairByFloJo reserves the right to verify new-client eligibility and to refuse or remove any promotional discount if misuse, duplicate accounts, or repeated redemption attempts are identified.


  • Discounts may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time without prior notice
  • If a promotional offer expires before the date of the scheduled appointment, the discount will not be applied, even if the appointment was booked during the promotional period (e.g., 10% off for the month of December, appointment scheduled in January).


  • Expired, discontinued, or improperly applied discounts will not be honored.
  • Discounts apply to the service cost only and do not reduce or apply to the mobile service fee. The mobile service fee is not eligible for discounts.


  • (16) Payment
  • We accept cash, debit/credit card, and e-transfer for your convenience.
  • Payment is due in full after the service is completed at your appointment.
  • No services will be carried over on credit.


  • (17) Mobile Fees (Travel Fees)
  • A mobile service fee applies to each appointment (unless directly informed otherwise) to cover travel expenses to and from your location.
  • Mobile fees are charged in addition to service costs and are due at the time of final payment.
  • Fees may vary depending on distance from our standard service area.


  • (18) Customer Data & Privacy
  • We collect and store customer information such as name, address, and phone number through our website provider (GoDaddy Websites) for booking and communication purposes.
  • For payments, we use (GoDaddy Payments), which, like other merchant services, securely stores customer transaction information, including name, address, phone number, and card details.
  • Your personal information will only be used for booking, payment processing, and essential communication, and will not be sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.


  • (19) Photos & Marketing
  • With your consent, before and after photos of your hair may be taken for marketing and advertising purposes, including use on our website and social media platforms.
  • By agreeing to have photos taken, you grant us permission to use these images for promotional purposes.
  • If you do not wish to have your photo used, please notify your stylist before your appointment begins.
